Mark your calendars and make your plans!  Join us for the Annual Cultural Day Festival on Sapelo Island.    Learn about life on Sapelo Island during slavery and about the history of this very special place.  Sapelo Island is one of the few, if not one of the last, surviving Gullah Geechee neighborhoods along the coast.  This festival occurs on the third Saturday in October each year and gives an historic overview of the Gullah Geechee culture.
